Overview

This report presents results of prevalence data on a variety of health topics based on the first examination of participants in the Hispanic Community Health Study/Study of Latinos conducted from 2008 - 2011.  The NHLBI sponsored study, with support from 6 other NIH Institutes, was conducted among Hispanic/Latino groups from the Bronx, NY; Chicago, IL; Miami FL; and San Diego CA.  The report describes health conditions and health status by age and sex and by background group. Also available in Spanish.
